Vienna Classical Music Academy International Classical Music Competition 2021
COMPETITION RULES & REGULATIONS
1. This competition is organized by the Vienna Classical Music Academy (V.C.M.A.).
2. Competition / Final date: 19.09.2021 at Mozarthaus Vienna
3. Finalists announcement date: 10.08.2021

6. The contest will be held in piano, strings, winds, percussions and vocal branches.
7. Applications are made according to the principles in this specification.
8. Candidates can make their applications until July 19, 2021, from the application tab on the site, or by sending the following documents to the official e-mail address of the organization.
* ID of the participant.
* Resume and contact information of the participant (e-mail, telephone, postal address)
* Photo of the participant at least 300 dpi resolution
* Youtube connection or mp4 recording of one track that contestants want, provided that it is not more than 20 minutes.
* Confirmation letter and parental identity stating that he / she will participate in the contest received from his parents for participants under the age of 18.
* A receipt showing that the application fee for the competition has been paid by any of the options specified on the payment tab on the website.
9. It is not possible for the competitors to impose any copyright or restriction on all audio and video recordings at each stage of the competition organized by the organization. All broadcasting rights of the contest belong to the institution organizing the contest.
10. After the first qualifying round is evaluated over the submitted records, the finalists will be announced on our page. The Final Concert is open to the audience and free of charge.
11. Travel and accommodation expenses of those who will participate in the competition will be covered by themselves.
12. Finalists who want to rehearse can apply from the organization's e-mail address.
13. Finalists are obliged to provide their accompanists themselves. Contestants who request accompanist, can receive information by e-mailing the organization.
CATEGORY A: THOSE BORN BEFORE 19.07.2003 / FOR DISCIPLINES: PIANO, STRINGS, WINDS, PERCUSSIONS AND VOICE (ALL VOICE TYPES)
All competitions are open for all nationalities over the age of 18 on the first day of the competition (Deadline 19.09.2021) must be born on or before 19 July 2003.

CATEGORY B: THOSE BORN AFTER 19.07.2003 / FOR DISCIPLINES: PIANO, STRINGS, WINDS AND PERCUSSIONS
All competitions are open for all nationalities under the age of 18 on the first day of the competition (Deadline 19.09.2021) must be born after, 19 July 2003.

COMPETITION RULES
1. The competition consists of two stages: the Qualifying Round and the Final.
2. YouTube links or videos sent by the participants will be evaluated by the jury, and those who pass the elimination will participate in the Final Round.
3.Contestants who make it to the finals can only play one piece at the final concert. The duration of the work should not exceed 20 minutes.
4. Competitors from the time his application, declared that it accepts all the rules of the competition and be deemed to have committed
JURY EVALUATION
• The works will be evaluated by the determined juries.
• The decisions made are final and cannot be changed.
• Communication with the jury members until the competition ends is a reason for disqualification
AWARD RULES
First, second and third prizes will be given in the competition. In addition, the Jury can suggest evaluations such as honorable / special prizes to a maximum of three other contestants.
1. All contestants who make it to the finals will be given a certificate of competition participation by the organization.
2. Special prizes may be awarded to any of the top three prize winners, a few, or to the jury of contestants who have failed to qualify for the top three prizes. This number does not exceed three.
3. Participants, there is no right to appeal to the competition process and results.
4. Award winners cannot transfer their rewards and rights to others.
